Awkmo
2015
Immersive sound and sensorial installation – a collaboration with Natalie Doyle for Glasgow Open House Art Festival. This work comprised a bubble wrap floor, four sound works, a clutter of ad-hoc scultpure and furniture, intermittent lighting effects, and unappealing snacks. Selected as a 'top pick' of the GOH15 festival.
Situated in the confined space of cube shaped internal hallway, Awkmo seeks to recreate that feeling you get from being stuck in a lift with strangers, accidentally insulting someone's mum, or being able to hear too much of what is going on behind closed doors.
