Digital Romance

Exhibited at CitizenM Glasgow, and as part of Bloomsberg New Contemporaries Glasgow with Morwenna Kearsley, Erin Busswood and Monica Foote.  Digital Romance considers the idea of intimacy turned inside out, in particular changing definitions of privacy and intimacy in the context of relationships formed and sustained through virtual mediums.
 

Elke Finkenauer is a multi-disciplinary artist of New Zealand/German descent, living and working in Glasgow, United Kingdom and Auckland, New Zealand.
